Leah serves as KHF’s Administrator and Projects Coordinator and Finance Person. With her Diploma in Mass Communication from Kenya Institute of Mass communication in December 2010, Leah worked with Safaricom Limited as a Communications and PR Person from 2011 to 2012.
It is while working with Safaricom Limited that she discovered her passion for Innovative Business Practices around Information Technology. She grabbed the opportunity to train with the Kenya Youth Empowerment Programme (KYEP), a programme run by Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) where Kenyan youths discover themselves and are trained to perfect their potential skills, offered internships opportunities and prepared for both their employment and business careers.
At Kenya Healthcare Federation, she is responsible for all administrative activities including day to day running of the Federation, takes care of all the Federation Financial books and also manages various projects that KHF run from time to time.
She manages the organization of KHF’s high-level advocacy and networking events, plans business trips for international guests traveling to Kenya, assists in the planning of meetings and interview sessions for KHFs several projects and provides KHFs committees with secretarial support.
Leah holds a Diploma in Communication from Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (2010) and currently, next to her function at KHF, pursues a Bachelor of Business and Information Technology at Kenya Methodist University.
