A major upgrade the Hospital Information Management System (HMIS) and the finance systems, a multi-phased project successfully completed under the leadership of the DCEO. During the short period of the systems operations, there is great efficiency witnessed in service delivery and financial reporting. The HMIS is centrally managed from HQ and provides transparency for both clinicians and non-clinicians in the day to day operations. Doctors within the hospital network are able to share clinical reports and skills exchange is now at a higher level. Other clinical departments and nursing functions have also been automated and all information available to caregivers at the click of a button. Operationally, common services e.g. billing, sales management reports, inventory management, HR systems have since ceased being manual.
